HR Generalist

As we grow you will have the opportunity to spearhead, develop, and eventually oversee different parts of the department. We are looking for someone that has a strong sense of ownership, attention to details, and a proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute high volume of work with a sense of urgency meeting deadlines and goals. Must have excellent computer skills and the flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to change.

The HR Generalist is responsible for:

• Onboarding new employees in Paylocity

• Processing employee benefits

• Updating compensations

• Reviewing/updating employee setup/permissions on Paylocity

• Liaisoning with government agencies to process unemployment claims, wage garnishments, and oversee worker’s compensation claims

• Processing terminations on Paylocity

• Sorting and distributing daily HR mail, answer incoming HR telephone calls from employees and 3rd parties

• Performing other duties as assigned by department manager

Requirements:

• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, including written correspondence, creativity, self-motivation, problem solving, and positive, professional attitude

• Knowledge of the Workers' Compensation is preferred
